BRAND DEVELOPMENT.

Since the 1960s, and started in Mound Bayou, MS, Delta Health Center has been the first healthcare center of its kind to offer access to many high-quality healthcare services in this marginalized area. Delta Health Center needed a brand refresh because of its exponential growth and vast service offerings. Also, because of the changing landscape of the family structure, they wanted to show inclusivity.

The challenge.

Develop a brand refresh that would visually show they were the first health center to offer access to healthcare services in a marginalized area and because of growth and change in family dynamics, show inclusivity to all family structures.

The solution.

The initial effort would focus on “The First of its Kind.” This headline would be the focal point of all collateral. “A Healthier Delta. A Healthier Mississippi” would be the slogan, coupled with the new logo design. The slogan and headline are used interchangeably, within copy or standalone. Using the existing brand colors and the widely recognized delta symbol, this would be the foundational piece of the brand voice and additional brand visuals. That Creative Guy also produced short testimonial videos of patients, past and present, that discussed the importance of the health center.

Physicians, nurses, and staff embraced this new brand direction and are excited about the new launch in January 2024.
