After you’ve gotten your logo files from your designer, and you don’t have them on retainer to help you with setting up artwork for promotional items, send vendors a high resolution pdf file or vector file (usually created in a program like Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw or other vector based programs). These file types should be included in your logo package.
Typically you want to do a 1 color imprint to save money on color costs. Promotional item vendors can do 1-3 flat colors. With so many print options for some items like T-shirts, you can do multiple colors at low cost, but it depends on the printing process (screen printing, direct to print or heat press). Remember to make sure you get a proof, if available, BEFORE PRINTING any promotional artwork. That way, you can catch incorrect colors and mistakes.
Little Sunshine Childcare Center
Caring for kids is such a special gift, especially when they are not all yours. Ha! Little Sunshine Childcare Center exists to provide a safe, inclusive environment for infants, toddlers, preschool, kindergarten, and school age children. Their focus is to provide a stimulating early learning and childcare experience which promotes each child’s social, emotional, and physical development. Mrs. Tawanna Payne was ready to take Little Sunshine’s brand to the next level by developing a fresh, new logo, stationery, social media, and website. A strong orange and yellow color were chosen for the logo and the stroke serves as clouds with the sun rising behind the words.
