The Challenge.
Methamphetamine abuse had become a growing concern within local communities, with increasing cases creating devastating consequences for individuals and families. The need was to develop a public awareness campaign that could communicate the seriousness of meth addiction in a way that was direct, memorable and difficult to ignore. The campaign needed a strong visual identity and message that could work consistently across multiple communication channels, from billboards and print materials to video and community outreach.
The Solution.
That Creative Guy developed the Not Meth. Not Once. campaign from the ground up, leading the overall art direction and creating a complete visual system centered around one clear message: the potential consequences of meth use aren't worth the risk, not even once. The campaign identity featured the words "Not Meth. Not Once." presented with a bold, stamp-inspired treatment, creating a visual device that could be immediately recognized across campaign materials.
As lead Art Director, That Creative Guy established the campaign's visual direction and extended the identity across print, outdoor advertising, apparel, displays and supporting promotional materials. The visual campaign was also carried into video, with videography produced by Jamie Mathews of Mathews Film Company, creating a coordinated multimedia awareness effort designed to reinforce the campaign message throughout the community.
