313Reads needed a bold, colorful, organic, and diverse annual report designed for its stakeholders.

313Reads goal is to ensure that all children, families, and adults in Detroit have equitable access to the opportunities, instruction, and resources they need to develop literacy and grade-level reading as tools for self-determination, economic stability, whole human health, and full engagement as agents of change in a democratic society.

That Creative Guy was referred by another client, Detroit Nonprofit Day, and awarded the design job. After several initial conversations with Leah Van Belle, Executive Director, and her team, That Creative Guy designed an annual report that met their expectations and specifications. It displayed the organization's voice to the stakeholders. It was a privilege designing this yearly report and knowing the vision and mission of this organization.

BROCHURE DESIGN.

Does Eat Place is a staple in the food world and winner of the coveted James Beard Award. They are known for their huge porterhouse steaks, tamales, grilled shrimp and salads (just to name a few food items). It should definitely be a bucket list item for places to eat!

Does Eat Place has a number of franchises around the country, but needed a brochure designed to put in each location that captured the ambiance of their restaurant. What better way to display that by showing photos of the original owners and their sons, preparing their mouth-watering dishes. This brochure was printed and used throughout their franchises and reprinted again because they ran out!
