Before you enter your nonprofit information, please review the three sections below:
- This is for nonprofits that have NO brand visual design. This means they need a newly created logo and need to establish fonts, colors, and collateral materials. This is not for nonprofits that have already established logo designs and some level of brand visual design. Our effort in this is to build a nonprofit's brand from scratch.

Brand Strategy Session:
- 30 – 45-minute brand visual design strategy session after initial review of chosen nonprofit submission.
Logo Design (if needed)
- 2 initial custom logo concepts to choose from and two (2) rounds of revisions on your chosen concept
- Final logo files for both web and print in full color and black and white:
- Vector files
- High-Resolution PDF file
- JPG logo files
- PNG logo files
- SVG logo files
Stationery Design
- A double-sided business card design for two (2) of your team members
- Custom letterhead and envelope design
Brand Guide - A quick reference PDF Branding Guide that includes:
- RGB brand colors
- CMYK brand colors
- Web Safe color hex codes (for web design)
- Typeface names and usage instructions
5-10 Page WordPress Custom Website Design
This WILL NOT be a templated website design. It will include your branded fonts, colors and style. This is the purpose of the brand visual design strategy session.
- Pages can be tailored to fit your needs. However, there will only be 5-10 pages TOTAL, including 2-3 sub-pages. Copy-writing will be supplied by the client.
Includes:
- 2 rounds of minor revisions
- Link to social networking profiles
- Image slider
- Responsive (optimized for mobile devices)
- Contact form
- Simple Donation Button
Photography
- On location - willing to travel up to 2 hours. The photo-shoot will last no more than 2 hours. 3 head-shots per executive director(s), staff, and board of directors. If no location is available, we will schedule to meet at a location for photos.
- Shots of location (if the nonprofit has a physical location), including action shots during working hours
Videography
- 1 video interview of up to 3 minutes promoting services of the nonprofit. This can include the Executive Director, 1 Staff Person or 1 person from the Board of Directors. Script will be written by the nonprofit.
Proof of Setup
- Must be a 3-11 person non-profit.
- Incorporation/Proof of 501(c)(3) status.
- Proof of staff.
- Proof of Board of Directors.
- Established for at least 6 months - 3 years.
Please include the documents that are applicable to your nonprofit organization

Domain, Hosting
- The client is responsible for writing the copy for the website based on the pages included in the Scope of Work.
- The nonprofit is responsible for domain registration and hosting. That Creative Guy will assist with this. If the nonprofit already has a domain and hosting, That Creative Guy will work with setting the website up on their hosting platform.
Intangibles
- Must have a true passion for the work being done.
- Must value and respect the brand visual work being done and the time invested. Timely feedback and decisions are crucial to meeting the deadlines set
- Should enjoy the process of building the brand visuals.
- Trust the Designer.
- After the initial brand strategy session (including the staff and board of directors), all future dialogue on creative matters will be between That Creative Guy and the Executive Director. The nonprofit will have ample input on the brand visuals. The rounds of revisions will be in accordance with the regular Terms and Conditions provided. However, That Creative Guy will decide on the final brand visual direction.
- The completion deadline will be set, and the project will begin no more than two weeks after the brand strategy session. This gives the nonprofit time to solidify needed items to start the design process.
- Communication is vital. If communication ceases for a week, a friendly email will be sent to check in. After another week of no response, the project will be canceled. Response means submitting information needed to keep the project on task and on time. Respecting the time taken to develop the pro bono work is imperative.
- Once the project begins, if client milestones are not met, That Creative Guy will send no more than two friendly reminders within three days. Client milestones will include any content the client needs to supply (e.g., staff names and titles, board names and titles, content for the website, etc.). These should be supplied within two weeks before the start of the project.
- The project will be considered complete when deemed by That Creative Guy, typically by the established deadline (if all client milestones are met on time).
- Except in uncontrollable circumstances (Act of God, dissolution of the nonprofit, physical inability to perform design work, etc.), the project will not exceed the established deadline.
- Your logo design will be reviewed first. A logo is not your brand; however, a strong logo is essential to your overall brand visuals. If your logo needs to be redesigned, we will work on redesigning it. You will not be considered if you are not open to a logo redesign.
- If the Executive Director leaves the nonprofit, the project will continue, but the established deadline will remain. The project would have been going long enough for staff to step in, and help with completion of the design work.
- If the project is abandoned because of internal strife of the nonprofit organizations, or for non-communication over an extended period of time, That Creative Guy retains all design assets. Also, there won't be any future business relationships established with the nonprofit.
- If donation capabilities are needed, the nonprofit must have at least two platforms as possible donation gateways. The nonprofit will be responsible for any fees for purchasing and setting up the donation software. That Creative Guy will embed any needed buttons but will not be responsible for building and implementing donation software. For example, if you want to use PayPal, you should already have established a PayPal account for nonprofits. That Creative Guy will pull the necessary code to embed the button on the website.
