Think Before You Shop was a critical campaign because it pushed the importance of keeping the communities tax dollars circulating throughout the city and county. Still suffering from the economic turmoil the country faced, small towns such as Greenville were hit hard by the closing of manufacturing plants and small businesses. The only way to combat this was to drive home the importance of remaining faithful to shopping at home, understanding that it was the best way to bring our local economy back stronger than ever.
